This traditional bamboo whisk is made from a single piece of bamboo carved to precision for finely frothing matcha to perfection.
How to use:
For first time use, we recommend soak your whisk in warm water for 30 seconds to uncurl the prongs. Watch it blossom!
Scoop your Izu Green matcha into the bowl, pour a 2 oz amount of hot water into the bowl at 80c and move your whisk in a zig-zag or "W" motion rapidly. Slowly add more water as you whisk and the froth begins to form. Vigorous whisking is key to lump free matcha froth.
Tip: Before each use run the whisk under warm water to soften up the prongs for better whisking!
